What are some colleges I should look at?

Unread postby KRLoves2Vault » Tue Jun 27, 2006 2:32 pm

I know someone asked this question a while ago, but I was wondering what everyone thought now. I am transfering and looking for a good place to go vault, any suggestions?

If you want to stay in California San Diego State, UCSD and Point Loma are nice for pole vaulting and surfing. UCI, LBSU, UCLA and MSAC are great choices for the LA area. CPSLO and Cuesta College are nice in central coastal California. I am sure Stanford and UCB are very nice. You need to research what college will be the best for you educationally and athletically. If you have time, go visit the colleges you are interested in. If you choose to go to another state there are many great colleges where you can get a great education and have a great time competing. Email Becca, I am sure she is an expert about choosing colleges with her years of traveling and networking with pole vaulters, coaches, and parents. Good luck with your decision.

It's seriously been discussed a ton. http://www.polevaultpower.com/forum/vie ... php?t=1921

I am locking the thread, email or PM me when you have a more specific question or more specific information to give and I'll unlock it.

For example: How much eligibility do you have left? PR? What division are you looking to go to? How are your grades? What do you want to study? What parts of the country are you willing to consider?
