This afternoon around 2 p.m. I received a message from Adam Bingaman, one of the senior vaulters at V. Tech this year, that said "we are all ok". I had called him earlier today but the phone lines are obviously jammed so he couldn't call back. I'm assuming and hoping that he means that their vault crew, and possibly their whole track team, is ok.... let's continue to keep them all in our thoughts and prayers

Thanks for the thoughts guys. All of the vaulters (and yes, Brian) are in fact OK.

Joe, our other senior vaulter had his roomate shot but is in stable condition.

Being an engineer, I am not looking forward to the next couple of days in finding out who was a victim, but if you could keep praying and sending thoughts, everyone would be appreciative.

Thanks again.

We are heartbroken from the tragedy on your campus today. We are relieved to know the friends we have made there are alive and well. We are saddened for the parents and friends who will be receiving different news. We will continue to watch the reports for information concerning the incident. thanks guys for all your thoughts and prayers

everything is just very shocking still. adam and myself were both supposed to be in neighboring buildings during the time of the shooting, but for some reason fate kept us off and safe.

we have contacted everyone on the pv squad and that our pv family is alive and hanging in there. the next few days will be very difficult for everyone. i dont really know how people can be expected to go back into those buildings or even onto the campus. in the last 10 days we have had this plus 2 bomb threats.

please continue to keep the families of everyone in your hearts and minds....
