eligibility rule

Unread postby nitro » Fri Jun 13, 2008 7:41 pm

i was wondering what the rule on eligibility was on someone that has graduated from a university but has another year allowed, ie. redshirt one year or graduate in 3 years, if the person was attending graduate school.

In general, if you have time left on your 5 year clock, and a year left of your 4 seasons, you can compete in grad school in the NCAA.

In the NAIA however, you cannot compete in grad school unless it is the same school you graduated from.
