Weltmeister Brad Walker springt in Aachen
Beim 4.

I would translate it, but I don't have the energy to type it out right now.

The hard vehicle is the translator trying to translate Stew's last name
I don't know how they got paint from dabei sein, it is just finishing out the statement saying that Brad Walker and Derek Miles will be there.
The translator translated Hexenkessel as witch boiler, which would be like a witches cauldron. It must be some kind of German expression, I guess trying to say how packed and intense the crowd will be.

"Hexenkessel" means a chaotic, tense, overcrowded (and often noisy) situation usually bound to come to a boiling point in terms of intensity.
Re: Walker, Miles, and Hartwig in Aachen, Germany
OK, here goes. I just got a letter from an old German friend today, and it put me in the mood to translate this.
World Champion Brad Walker jumps in Aachen
For the 4th Cathedral Vault on September 24, 2009 on the Aachen Katschhof , USA top vaulter Brad Walker and Derek Miles will be there. Brad Walker is the world’s best vaulter this year. With a vault over 6.04 meters in June 2008 he bettered the US national record that Jeff Hartwig previously held.
Brad Walker comes to Jeff Hartwigs farewell in Aachen
In 2007 the 27 year old became world champion in Osaka. The previous year he claimed the indoor world title.
With Derek Miles comes an athlete to Aachen who has already beaten Brad Walker this year. At the US championship Derek Miles won. The 35 year old just missed a medal at the Olympic Games in Peking and landed in fourth place. Even after the Olympic Games he showed himself in top form and won the world final in Stuttgart.
Departure of Jeff Hartwig
Without reservations, Brad Walker and Derek Miles want to take part in the Cathedral Vault. Not only the fantastic call of the meeting of the athletes draws them to Aachen. “Both US Boys have very much wanted to come to Aachen because they wanted to be there when their compatriot Jeff Hartwig ends his career”, said Michael Leers, representative of the Track and Field division of Alemannia Aachen, the co-producer of the Cathedral Vault and the one responsible for taking care of the athletes.
The multi-faceted US champion and 6 meter vaulter Jeff Hartwig for the last time takes to the runway in Aachen to vault in his successful career. Many thousand spectators will wander into the courtyard between the Cathedral and the courthouse on September 24 in the witches’ caldron to cheer the athletes to highest performance and give Jeff Hartwig an unforgettable farewell.
The entrance for the entire event is free, though spectator capacity is limited. Nearby are two platforms with total seating capacity of 1000, also for free use. Vaulting starts at 2:30. The stars arrive at 3:30 before the competition starts at 5:30.
My translation is not precise, but tells you the basic intent of the article. Sorry I don't know the definition of Nachwuchspringen . From the context, I would assume it is everyone who is vaulting except the stars.

Yeah Lukas didn't know that one either, I just assumed it meant some kind of B group that is jumping before the stars.
